EASYfoam FireSeal | Pyramid Foam is a sound-absorbing material with a sleek pyramid profile. It fits well in visible applications and public spaces. The pyramidal structure breaks sound waves and reduces echo and disturbing reflections. This pyramid foam consists of EASYfoam FireSeal and offers strong sound absorption combined with extra fire safety. The material has an open cell structure and a relatively high specific weight. As a result, it delivers stable and reliable acoustic performance in spaces where both sound quality and safety are important. EASYfoam FireSeal | Pyramid Foam thus provides a fire-safe alternative to standard dotted foam.
The self-adhesive back makes installation simple. You can quickly and neatly stick the material onto various substrates. Production takes place in Europe. The standard panels measure 96 × 48 cm with a thickness of 50 mm.

Material and Construction of FireSeal
EASYfoam FireSeal | Pyramid foam consists of fire-retardant modified polyurethane foam based on EASYfoam FireSeal. The material has an open cell structure and a relatively high specific weight of 90 kg/m³. This gives the foam stable acoustic properties and durable quality.
The uniform cell structure ensures a neat and tidy appearance. As a result, the pyramid foam fits well in visible applications where both acoustics and a professional finish are important.
Fire resistance
Flame-extinguishing according FMVSS 302 and UL-94 class HF1. However, polyester foams and polyether foams are not suitable to be used in public spaces because of the high requirements with regard to the fire resistance in these spaces.

EASYfoam FireSeal | Pyramid foam is suitable for many different applications, both professionally and at home. Thanks to the combination of strong sound absorption, fire safety, and a neat appearance, you can effectively use the material in public spaces, offices, and utility buildings.
Also works excellently in music studios, home studios, and home cinemas. In these spaces, good acoustics and a neat finish are especially important. EASYfoam FireSeal | Pyramid foam is also the fire-safe alternative to standard egg crate foam.
The plates fit snugly together. This creates a smooth, uniform surface without visible seams.
Confirmation and Processing of FireSeal
EASYfoam FireSeal | Pyramid Foam has a self-adhesive backing, allowing you to install it quickly and effortlessly. Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust and grease. This way, the foam adheres well and stays neatly in place.
You simply cut the material to size using a Stanley knife or a band saw. Are you dealing with a rough or uneven surface? Then apply a layer of contact adhesive to one side first. This will ensure a firm and durable attachment.
For optimal performance of the adhesive layer, we recommend processing our self-adhesive products within six months of purchase.
